Górnik Łęczna gained a full set of points after the match with Kotwica Kołobrzeg - but not on the pitch, but at the green table. The Committee for Competitions and Professional Football of the Polish Football Association verified the result of the match of the 27th round of the Betclic 1. League as a 3-0 walkover for Górnik.
The score was 0:0 on the pitch, but Kotwica had an unpleasant mistake – from the 81st minute they played with three players from outside the European Union, while the regulations only allow two. This means a violation of the regulations and automatic defeat.
Thanks to this decision, Górnik adds three points and now has 42. Kotwica, on the other hand, remains on 21 points and must look back in the fight to stay up.
