A story that shows that it is worth aiming high and fulfilling dreams. We rarely hear about players from the second tier of the league who make it to their national teams.
Pogoń Siedlce player Titas Milasius has been called up to the Lithuanian national team for matches against Poland and Finland. Interestingly, he has already had a chance to play for his national team eight times, starting three times. This is undoubtedly a great achievement for a player who is playing his fourth season in the first league. This season, he has appeared in 19 matches for his team, but has only started seven times. He even scored one goal. It is also worth adding that the young, 24-year-old Lithuanian left winger spent only 32 minutes on Ekstraklasa pitches in the 2019/2020 season as a player of Wisła Płock. Apart from that, he has only played in lower Polish leagues.
We wish the player all the best for the future and look forward to seeing him in the national team!
