A referee from Japan will referee a PKO BP Ekstraklasa match! We are talking about Yosuke Araki, who will be the main referee for Sunday's match between Jagiellonia Białystok and Piast Gliwice. The presence of an arbitrator from such an exotic country as Japan is the result of an exchange of referees between Poland and the country of the rising sun.

A Japanese-born referee, Yosuke Araki, has been appointed to referee the 27th round match between Jagiellonia Białystok and Piast Gliwice. Interestingly, the Tokyo-born referee has already refereed two matches in our league. In 2017, he was the referee in the matches between Sandecja Nowy Sącz and Cracovia and Piast Gliwice and Wisła Płock.

In Sunday's match at Słoneczna he will be assisted by assistants - Kota Watanabe and Jun Mihara. The VAR system will be managed by Tomasz Kwiatkowski.
